Smart City Platform

In 2017 BTC company was on the way to implement a way to measure and gather data. We partnered with Smartis d.o.o. and implemented the Smart City platform, where we measure various KPIs as a smart city: the number of visitors, production of electricity, pollution of ozone atmosphere, sound pollution, number of vehicles, and many more. With these, we were able to gather data and improve our Smart City.

Project description

Smart City Platform is a solution that offers wider environment options for the development of new solutions based on open data and API economy. In addition, it offers full support in addressing the challenges and the digital transformation of the institution. Our products and services for smart management allow administrators to be managers who develop potential cooperation with citizens, visitors, entrepreneurs, and other partners. SmartCityPlatform consists of various modules.

This solution helped us transform BTC company into a Smart City. We were able to monitor what is happening to our city and improve it, for both our partners and visitors. We positioned BTC City as one of the biggest Smart Cities and Living Labs in the world. Living Labs are meant to be an open area, where we test various smart solutions and get quick MVPs.

In June 2020, I joined Estable, a Swedish based company, as a crisis CEO, in order to help with their business development, establish operational processes, and prepare a new strategy and plan. Estable is a digital platform with a global focus on trotting & gallop racing. Working with an international team, establishing new partnerships, running a company in a foreign country, has been amazing.

Origintrail – BTC logistics

The BTC Company has always been one of the leading innovators in various fields. In 2018 we decided to take an important step towards the implementation of blockchain technology in our logistics center with more than 450 employees. As part of our Living Lab, the BTC Company started cooperation with the Slovenian blockchain-based tech company OriginTrail.

Beyond Leadership

In the month of May of 2020, I together with dr. Sandra Penger, started a new endeavor, a project named Beyond Leadership, where the visionand goal, was to create a platform for entrepreneurs, leaders, managers, students, and everyone willing to learn and share their best practices and life stories and connect the business world with academia. At the core of the project is also a podcast channel Beyond Leadership, as well as a Facebook group with 2.000 members.
